I am a final year student at the University of Cambridge, studying Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. My overarching interest lies in the translational relevance of psychology and neuroscience - how fundamental insights into learning and memory can and have informed other fields such as computer science or medical treatment efficacy. I am particularly drawn to applications in rehabilitation and pain, as well as to the integration of cognitive principles into robotics and intelligent systems.
I have experience working in biomedical research and am a research assistant in clinical psychology at the University Clinic Hamburg-Eppendorf, where I am responsible for data analysis and management of a clinical trial investigating the role of psychological factors in the development of chronic pain after surgery.
