Sports/ Hobbies

I'm currently captain of the Cambridge University Triathlon Club. I love the challenge of pushing my limits and escaping into the outdoors for a swim, bike, or run. And I really appreciate all the friends I've made through the sport.

Currently obsessed with

Cuttlefish! I love thinking critically about operationalisations and reading about assesssiing mental time travel in cuttlefish and relating this to "classic" human episodic memory. It's a bit of a niche obsession but it's been a great reminder to me of how much we have yet to learn about memory and the mind and about how much definitions matter.

Writing

I am also trying to keep on top of writing more regularly - mainly to keep me accountable to finishing papers and thoughts that are percolating in my head, but also just for fun. I post most of my writing on Substack

Side Projects

Very much at the start of building a method for students and researchers to track and remember what they read. It's a passion project born out of my own struggles to keep track of all the papers I read, and to make it easier for others to do the same.
